Weekend Family Brunch at Monti – We are Going Back!
Going for Brunch is one of our favourite family bonding activities! And we are super excited with this new find—Monti at Fullerton Pavilion! Honestly, we loved it so much, we already made reservations for our next visit! After all, it was awarded one of Best Restaurants 2018 by Singapore Tatler, and Wine & Dine Singapore!
Here’s what happens every Saturday in our family. We all sleep in… then we head out to eat. And because our sleeping beauty, Nicole, wakes up unassisted at 12 noon, brunch is our only option! You can imagine that’s why we love brunch!
So Monti started a Brunch-by-the-bay every weekend which serves all-day breakfast and a variety of classic brunch favourites, served with gorgeous Italian flair. Brunch is served from 9.30 a.m. till 5 p.m.! Perfect for the early risers and the sleeping beauties!
What makes Monti so ideal for families is the very spacious surroundings which has ramps for kids to ride their scooters, stroller parking, kids activity corner and of course a very comprehensive Kids’ menu! And while the kids busy themselves with their activity, the adults can chill and relax looking at the wonderful bay view.
To make it extra special, there will be a live demo of pasta making every 1st weekend of the month. For other weekends, the dough will be prepared in advance, and the kids will be able to cut out the shapes and take home the pasta to cook! How cool!!
Now, on to the food! This was really the clincher! We found the dishes delicious and in some cases, worthy of 2nd and 3rd helpings! Here’s what we had!
My choice appetizer – Seafood Bowl ($18) with the freshest Hamachi, Yellow Fin Tuna, Avocado, Carrot, Cucumber and Beetroot.
Breakfast ain’t complete without the Breakfast Burger ($25)
If you are a berry fan, this French Toast ($14) is a must-have!
The kids had two of this! Tagliatelle with Wagyu Ragout ($22)
My personal favourite – Eggs Benedict ($18). So so so good! 
And chef’s favourites – Seafood Pizza ($22), Big Breakfast ($25) and Sausage Ragout
How not to order Tiramisu ($15) in an Italian restaurant?

The food was very fresh and the ambiance perfect for brunch! And if you go on 1 & 2 Sept, you get a LIVE Jazz band as well! Just for that weekend, it’s an ala carte buffet at $70++ and you can try everything on the menu! (For an additional $18++, you can have free flow Prosecco too!)

As an aside, after our Brunch, we went to check out the bum boat ride (which is just next to Monti!) This is not part of the brunch… but it was definitely a nice treat for the kids! 
I’ve put Monti as my go-to spot for Brunch now! Even if it’s for the regular weekend brunch, the food and pricing makes it hard to resist for a start to a lazy weekend!
