The June holidays are round the corner! And our favourite English Language School is hosting their annual June Pop-up picnic again! This time, it is back in the lush green Labrador Park! I still remember how the first ever Pop-up picnic was like! The kids had tremendous fun while the adults had a most engaging session on Parenting.
This June, the Pop-up class is purely for pre-schoolers from 4-6 years old–a Mini-Me series. And the focus is on Phonics! The children will have a trial class and experience the much loved Jan & Elly lessons. And with that, a free assessment to find out your child’s reading ability.
For the parents, a special workshop has been organised for us. It’s something very close to all our hearts. Elly Sim, the founder of Jan & Elly would be sharing a very special workshop on “How to get the most out of a preschool reading programme”. I can only imagine all the parents taking notes to get the best mileage off a reading programme!
If you are free to attend the pop-up sessions, please try to. It gives the parents a good feel of what classes at Jan & Elly is like, and you get to ask questions about learning English to all the experts who are around.
